Maverick Sabre

I went to Maverick Sabre's free listening experience in Bethnal Green for Burn the Right Things Down hoping to meet musicians and take photographs with a friend. Nothing had been arranged in advance.

I approached one member of staff, who brought me to another, who then took me to Maverick's manager in person. When I was asked whether there was anything else I wanted, I said an interview before I had properly thought it through. The manager called Maverick over and it all came together on the spot, leaving me 15 minutes to write my questions and far more to deliver than I had expected.

The resulting conversation covered music, individuality, society and spirituality. Afterwards, Maverick complimented the questions.
