Behind the interview
Curtisy was the easiest and most natural interview I have conducted. Whatever I asked, he answered with charisma, humour and complete engagement.
He was an emerging voice in an Irish rap scene crowded with potential breakout artists. His Earl Sweatshirt-influenced style carried the rough edges and particular atmosphere of places such as Tallaght into music that felt unmistakably Irish.
